The Mechanics of the Fix:

How LintleLOCK™ Actually Works

Most "pros" think a sagging garage lintel is a weight problem. It’s not. It’s a rotation problem.

The Physics of the Failure

Your garage door is spanned by a 5/16" thick, 8" x 5" steel angle iron. Over time, that steel starts to tilt forward. Once it loses its level plane, gravity takes over, the mortar joints snap, and the brick starts to dive. Most guys will tell you that you need a massive I-beam to hold it up. They're wrong. You don't need more steel; you need to put the steel you already have back to work.

The Correction: The Rotation

We don't just "push" the brick up. We rotate the angle iron back to its original structural position.

Access: We surgically remove up to three bricks to reach the structural header behind the masonry.

The Anchor: We drill directly through your existing 5/16" angle iron and into the structural wood header of the house.

The Torque: We use 5/16" coated steel lags and a high-torque electric impact lag gun. As we drive those lags, the leverage forces the angle iron to rotate backward and upward, pulling the entire masonry wall back into its original seat.

The Result: Zero Beams. Total Structural Lock.

By the time we’re done, your lintel is physically bolted to the "bones" of your home. It can’t tilt, so it can't sag.

The Finish: MortarMagic™ Restoration

Because we only pulled three bricks, we don’t have to rebuild your entire garage face. We use our MortarMagic™ custom matching system to replace those three bricks and repoint the cracks. When the mortar dries, the repair is invisible, the steel is locked, and the structure is backed for life.
